ensō is another workplace
in Takayama for people
who work independently.

A workplace you can stay in
Alongside an office area built for focused work, ensō has three guest rooms. With your workplace in the same building, you can keep your usual work going and stay long-term, living like a local in Takayama. Go one step further than sightseeing or business trips, into the inner side of town.

Near the old town,
across from a public bath
The old townscape of Hida Takayama is a five-minute walk away. When you hit a wall, take a stroll through the old streets or along the Miyagawa river, and after work wash the day off in the bath and sauna at Inari-yu ↗, the sento across the street. Only in the middle of Takayama can working blend this naturally with living and playing.

Stimulation and learning
from the community
A place where people working in Takayama, in all kinds of roles and trades, sit side by side. Who is doing what, and what are they looking for right now? A community manager who knows is always on site, and on days you feel like talking, they will introduce you to someone. Come find the missing piece for your work.
Events
ensō regularly hosts events you will only find here.
Besides members-only events, there are semi-closed events that non-members can join by signing up.
It is a place for the kind of information sharing only peers can have, for honest talk that rarely comes out, and for perspectives you would not meet in daily life.
Journal
Records of how ensō came to be, daily happenings and event reports,
written by the staff.
